The newly formed OLOV/ SJV Knights of Columbus Council will meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in the SJV Hall.

Stewardship

Each week in our bulletin, a number of requests for help with ministries are listed. You may read the bulletin and think, “well, someone else will help with that request, I’m just too busy right now or, if they really wanted me to help, someone would ask me…” Well, consider yourself asked!!

We have many needs in both parishes. The Youth Ministry needs adults to help guide our young people. The CCD program needs catechists to help share their faith with our youth. The Baptismal Bib program needs a few people with the talent to sew a simple bib that is given as a gift to all children at their baptism. The Diaper Bank is in desperate need of diapers to fill the shelves, so that we can serve those in need. The Food Pantry is in need of pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter and staples. Magazines, trial size toiletries, games, lap blankets and companionship are needed for the veterans at the VA Hospital. Prayer Groups and Bible Studies are looking for people to come and share in our faith. Please prayerfully consider sharing your time, talent and treasure with our parishes. Boy Scouts of America meet every Thursday in the OLOV Church Hall, Cub Scouts on Fridays. Call 932-2045 for exact dates and information.

Social Minstry Committee - meets the first Tuesday of the month. (Off for July and August)

Lord of Peace Prayer Group meets Friday evenings at 7:30 PM - St John Viannney Church Hall.

Rosary and Divine Mercy pray the rosary and recite the prayers of Divine Mercy- SJV Wednesday evenings 7 pm, OLOV Daily at 5:10 pm in the Church

Bible Study in the St. John Vianney Chapel Tuesdays at 2 pm.

Sunday Bible Study Group meets 6 - 7 pm in OLOV rectory basement
